Cookie Policy
Last updated
Draft document. This page is a structural template for review. Its wording has not been settled with legal counsel and must be replaced with the finalised policy, together with the operating company’s registered details, before launch. Nothing here should be relied on as a statement of MedInsight’s current practices.
This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on this website, and the choices available to you. It should be read alongside the privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser so that it can recognise your device on later visits. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, store or read information on your device in comparable ways. Websites commonly use them to keep visitors signed in, remember preferences or measure how the site is used.
Cookies used on this site
This website sets one cookie, listed below. It is first-party and strictly necessary, and it contains no personal data. The website does not use local storage, analytics, advertising or other tracking technologies.
Fonts and images are served from our own infrastructure, so loading a page does not send requests to third-party font, analytics or advertising services.
- cookie_consent: remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies in the cookie banner, so you are not asked again on every page. It expires after 12 months.
Third-party websites
The share buttons on articles are plain links to X, LinkedIn and Facebook. Nothing is loaded from those networks unless you click one; if you do, you leave this website and that network's own cookie policy applies.
Managing cookies
On your first visit, a banner at the foot of the page asks you to accept or reject cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the website works the same either way, because it currently sets no optional cookies. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie Settings in the footer.
You can also control cookies for every website through your browser settings, where you can view, block or delete them; most browsers also offer a private mode that clears them when the window is closed.
Changes to this policy
If we introduce further cookies or similar technologies — for example, for analytics or online payment — we will update this policy before they are used, list each one with its purpose, provider and duration, and show the cookie banner again so you can decide. The date at the top of the page shows when this policy was last updated.
